The Crawford County General Health District has registered nurses certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as child passenger safety seat technicians.

These skilled nurses provide one hour classes on child safety seat education. They distribute child car seats provided through the Ohio Buckles Buckeyes Child Safety Seat Distribution and Education Program to those eligible for a fee of $10 and provide child car seat safety check events.
