The Crawford County General Health District Nursing Department works with several area agencies and regional programs for health referral needs. Needs include but are not limited to assistance for handicapped wheelchair ramp, assistance with prescription eyeglasses and assistance with dental care needs.
Applications are available at our office for you to complete and for us to submit. Following submission to the appropriate service agency, the Nursing Division has no further involvement. The service agency will contact you and make the decision whether you meet eligibility for assistance.
Crawford County Society for Crippled Children and Adults, Inc.: Offers assistance with wheelchair ramps and other medical needs for eligible clients. Applications are available at our office.
Lion’s Clubs:
Bucyrus, Colonel Crawford and Crestline: Provides assistance with the purchase of prescription eyeglasses for eligible clients. Applications are available at our office.
Crawford County Dental Care 4 Kids: Provides referral to area participating dentists for dental care for children.
Dental Options:
Offered by the Ohio Dental Association in collaboration with the
Ohio Department of Health.
